Dr. Lauren Hawkes is an Olympia native who is excited to provide hearing healthcare in the community she calls home. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Washington University in Bellingham before completing her Doctor of Audiology degree at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.

During her fourth-year residency in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, Dr. Hawkes gained extensive hands-on experience as a Student Doctor of Audiology while continuing to develop her clinical knowledge and patient-care skills. She considers adaptability one of her greatest strengths and understands that every patient has different needs, priorities, and experiences. She is committed to treating each person as a whole and providing individualized care that fits their life.

Dr. Hawkes’ favorite part of audiology is sharing her knowledge and providing tools that can meaningfully improve someone’s quality of life. Whether she is helping a patient connect more easily with loved ones, enjoy favorite music, or hear the birds during a walk, she loves knowing her work can help people more fully experience and appreciate the world around them.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hawkes enjoys traveling and exploring new cities, taking workout classes, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
