Olympia’s Complete Hearing & Balance (formerly Ascent Audiology & Hearing) was established in 2011 with a dream to provide a full scope of audiology services. In an effort to bring quality comprehensive hearing and balance healthcare to the South Sound region, I developed an audiology practice that provides thorough diagnostic evaluations and effective treatment plans. I worked with an ENT practice for several years and I was disappointed with the limited treatment that patients received. I wanted to have a practice that provided testing for patients of any age and utilized all treatment options available. The idea was that Complete Hearing & Balance would offer comprehensive audiology care for patients of all ages.
Something unique about us: all of our audiologists are doctors of audiology. Did you know not all audiologists are doctors? The training that is required to earn a doctoral degree in audiology is extensive. Our role is to be your hearing doctor; to help you understand the cause of your symptoms and the best treatment options available. You deserve the best from us, and thanks to our education and shared passion, we are able to deliver that to you.
We believe in thorough diagnostic evaluations in order to properly diagnose and treat your hearing, balance, and tinnitus problems. No patient is exactly the same and every patient will receive a customized plan of care. We treat patients of all ages and provide the following services:
Hearing aids are a tool used in your treatment plan to help you reach your communication goals. We work with several types, styles, and brands. There are 5 major hearing aid brands and we work with all of them. We constantly research products to understand their benefits and limitations so that you have access to the right products for you. There is not one perfect hearing device for everyone. The brand, style, and cost will vary depending on your hearing loss, anatomy, and communication goals.
