Meet Alison Vega, Au.D., ABA, CH-TM
Dr. Alison Vega brings over twenty-five years of professional experience in hearing and balance care to Olympia. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Western Washington University and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Utah State University. She began her career in Seattle and relocated to Olympia in 2004. In 2011, Dr. Vega founded Complete Hearing & Balance to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care focused on hearing loss, balance disorders, and tinnitus.
Dr. Vega is a board-certified audiologist (American Board of Audiology) and is certified in tinnitus evaluation and treatment (CH-TM). She specializes in the differential diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus and believes effective care begins with a thorough diagnostic evaluation. Her clinical expertise includes advanced hearing technology, vestibular evaluation and treatment, tinnitus management, and surgical hearing treatment options such as cochlear implants and osseointegrated bone-anchored hearing systems.
Dr. Vega is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA). Deeply committed to her community, she served on the Washington State Board of Hearing and Speech and the board of the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. She volunteers through hearing screenings and advocacy efforts and has been recognized with Utah State University’s Outstanding Young Professional award and the Business Examiner’s 40 Under 40 honor.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Vega enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending live music concerts, and boating in the Pacific Northwest
